Pre-market: Sensex likely to open higher

The Sensex is likely to open on highed backed by firm global markets.
The index, however, may face some resistance around 14,175, above which the upmove is likely to strengthen.

While Nikkei was up 107 points at 17,490, the Hang Seng had gained 137 points at 20,243.

The Sensex is likely to face resistance around 14,175-14,200-14,230 levels. On the downside, the index may find support around 14,005-13,980-13,950 levels.
