Pre-monsoon showers on Sunday brought much needed relief to residents of Delhi, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan, reeling under heat wave conditions and delayed monsoon, while nine persons were killed by lightning in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh which experienced heavy rains in some areas.
