Normal life was disrupted for the second day today at Perambalur, hometown of former Telecom Minister A Raja, following protests by some political parties against his arrest by CBI in connection with the 2G spectrum scam.

Almost all shops remained closed in Perambalur and the protesters pelted stones at buses. Windscreens of four Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation buses were broken, police said.
