The state government has at last found an administrator in Satyanarayana, the additional commissioner (relief), to run the beleaguered Prudential Cooperative Urban Bank.
Satyanarayana took charge today amidst attempts by some of the employees and depositors to attack a few former directors of the bank who gathered at the bank's head office.
The bank is planning to open all its branches from tomorrow. It is also making arrangements to meet the demand of depositors since each depositor is allowed to withdraw upto Rs 1,000.
