PSU oil firms cut aviation fuel price by 1.8%

Public sector oil firms have cut prices of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) by 1.85% due to the fall in international prices.

An official of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) said the slash in the ATF price for domestic airlines range between Rs 650-745 per kilolitre.

The new prices are w.e.f November 1, 2005, he added.

For international airlines that do not have to pay local levies on the fuel, the cut would be between $25-26 per kilolitre, the official said.
