Out of these project proposals, maximum investment is being made by PACL India Limited to the tune of Rs 2,030 crore for setting up of mixed-use integrated industrial park of 500 acres area, at Rajpura in Patiala district.
The same company has also proposed to set up similar project with an investment of Rs 880 crore in Ludhiana district.
Rhythm Textile and Apparel Park Limited has proposed to set up an industrial park involving integrated facilities for knitting and apparel manufacturing with a total outlay of Rs 340 crore, at an area of 18.50 acres, at village Shekhan Majara in Nawan Shehar district.
Similarly, CCI Industrial Estate & Cluster Cooperative Industrial Society Limited would set up an industrial park with an investment of Rs 105.61 crore at Chandigarh Ambala highway.
Out of seven hotel projects, the state has received five project proposals for setting up five star hotels at several locations.
Among them are Ishan Developers and Infrastructure Ltd and R K Sharma Group, which would make an investment of Rs 252 crore and Rs 309 crore in setting up five star hotels in Mohali and Amritsar, respectively.
