Qatar Airways, claimed to be the fastest growing airline from the Middle East region, is keen on increasing its presence in India by operating flights to more number of cities and increasing its frequency of flights to the existing destinations.
Operating a total number of 19 flights a week at present from Mumbai, Thiruvanthapuram, Hyderabad and Kochi, Qatar Airways has proposed to operate flights from Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore as well.
Disclosing this here today, Saeed Parkar, the regional manager (India) of Qatar Airways, said that a delegation would be coming from Qatar next month to discuss the proposals as part of bilateral negotiations with the Indian government.
