After arresting Rahul Mahajan on charges of drug abuse, police will today continue questioning doctors of the Apollo Hospital and late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan's aide Harish Sharma in the high-profile case.

Police are planning to produce Rahul in the Patiala House Court to seek his custody for interrogation, but it will depend on Apollo doctors' report on whether he is fit to be discharged.

If the doctors decide not to discharge him, then police will have to take a magistrate to the hospital to seek his custody.

Continuing the investigation, police will today question doctors in Apollo, where Rahul was taken in a critical condition in the wee hours of Friday, to ascertain the medical condition at the time of his admission and the "line of treatment" they had taken to save him.

They are also expected to be quizzed on the reason behind their decision to make Rahul's medical test records public when the matter was under investigation.

Initially doctors at Apollo had said that Rahul had tested negative for drugs, but examination of urine and blood samples by a private pathological lab showed traces of a cocktail of drugs.
