 Dividend (7 paise)

 Depreciation reserve fund (7 paise)

 Development fund (3 paise)

 Working expenses: Includes staff wages & allowances (26), fuel (17), railway safety fund (1), lease charges (3), stores (4) and micellaneous (8)

 Pension fund : To pay pension to former employees

 Dividend : Paid to the general exchequer in perpetuity at the rate of 7% of capital at charge

 Depreciation reserve fund : Caters to the depreciation requirements

 Development fund : Investments in development works
