Rajasthan announces rehabilitation package

Minor children of the deceased would be paid a monthly relief of Rs 4,000 each in a bank account and a five per cent increment every year till he or she becomes an adult, state Parliamentary  Minister R S Rathore told media persons here.    

A fixed deposit of Rs two lakh would be made separately in case of a girl, he said. A widow and each of her minor children would be given a monthly ex-gratia of Rs 1,500. The children would get the pension till they become adults, he said.    

 

Parents who were dependent on their lost son would be given a joint ex-gratia of Rs 2,000 per month, he said.     The disabled would be given pension as per the social welfare and empowerment department's norms, and a one time payment of Rs two lakh, the minister said.    

For school education the state government would provide an ex-gratia of Rs 12,000 per month, for higher education Rs 25,000 and a coaching fee of Rs 50,000 for any vocational course to the children of the deceased, he said.    
The BJP government would try its best to provide a job to the deserving dependents (male or female) in private or the government sector, he said, adding a family health insurance plan would also be effected for these victims and relatives of deceased.
