Rajasthan for promoting dimensional stones globally

The Centre for Development of Stones (CDOS) and Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) today hosted the second edition of 'Global Stone Technology & Business Forum' at Jaipur.

This is yet another effort by the state government to promote and build brand equity of Rajasthan's stone globally.

Inaugurating the function, Narpat Singh Rajvi, state minister of industries, said: "Our state government is looking at adopting and incorporating the latest technologies in stone mining and processing and actively exploring opportunities for public-private partnerships. The government is equally focused on protecting the environment and is committed to safeguard the rights of the local population which survives on this trade."
