She said the Rajasthan Industrial Investment Corporation had reserved 1,000 acres for Japanese investment and land been allotted to seven Japanese companies.

She said that Rajasthan had become an attractive investment destination for industrial houses today due to the intensive and untiring efforts made in the past four years.

She said as a result of a trebling of the annual plan, infrastructure facilities had been developed and technical skills upgraded.

She expressed the hope that the state would become power-surplus state by the end of next year.

Raje said the Nimrana and Bhiwadi regions were being developed as prominent industrial centres.

Praising Japan's trade and technical culture, Raje expressed the hope that with Japanese cooperation, resources and talent, this important part of the country could be made most modern and developed.
