Rajasthan organises summit to attract investors

The Rajasthan government, to attract investment, is organising "Resurgent Rajasthan: Partnership Summit", here on November 30 and on December 1.
 
"Resurgent Rajasthan" is being organised to catalyse partnerships of domestic and global investors with the state.
 
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is partnering the state sovernment. The summit will showcase the competitive advantages that Rajasthan offers and the wide spectrum of opportunities that it has in store for investors.
 
Over the two days, a variety of workshops and sessions, focusing on building business relationships and opening opportunities for participants from India and abroad, will be held.
 
It will provide a platform for corporate executives, entrepreneurs and chamber members to build their networks, exchange ideas and participate in one-to-one discussions with senior officials of the state for better development of their businesses in Rajasthan.
 
Incidentally, Rajasthan is optimistic on attracting over Rs 350 billion of investment in different sectors in around 10 years' time.
 
"Big corporate houses like Wipro, Infosys, ITC Mahindra Group and Gujarat Ambuja among others have already decided to set up units here while some others have shown interest," a senior industry official said here.
