As the followers of Baba Ramdev were evicted from Ramlila Maidan, they gathered at the Jantar Mantar but here also they were prevented from staging protest by the police.

"About 30-40 people had gathered at the heavily barricaded Jantar Mantar, but they were asked to leave the place by the police," said an aide of Baba Ramdev.

Though most of the people went to near-by Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, a few of them stayed but later they were also asked to leave the place.

Police had barricaded the area, even the media was not allowed to cross the barricade.

At Bangla Sahib, around 100 supporters have gathered and some of them showed their wounds sustained by the lathicharge and demanded action against the policemen.
