Under all round attack back home over his dramatic turn on India’s stand on emission cuts, Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh today claimed he was “nuancing” the country’s stand against legally-binding cuts, as the climate change conference here struggled for a consensus.
Negotiators from nearly 200 countries are burning the midnight oil to finalise the outcome of the two-week conference which yesterday saw Ramesh’s call to all countries to take binding commitments under appropriate legal form.
