Initiating a discussion on the no-confidence motion against the three-month old Patel ministry, Opposition leader B S Yediyurappa stunned the House by presenting supporting documents to buttress his charge. The beneficiaries are P V Narasimha Rao's son P V Prabhakara Rao and Deve Gowda's daughter-in-law Sangita Ramesh and other relatives.
This government has connived with Sangita Ramesh by allowing her to unauthorisedly occupy land belonging to a Hindu trust and Muslim Khabarstan to set up a petrol bunk, he alleged amidst vociferous protests from the treasury benches.
