In face of the current weakening of the dollar and euro as compared to the rupee, the leather footwear and fashion accessories manufacturers of Agra are busy restructuring their product prices before leaving to participate in the 68th Expo Riva Schuh to be held in Italy from June 16 to 19 .

With an overall increase of 12 percent in the "off-the-shelf" prices of the Agra shoes internationally due to the drop in dollar exchange rates compared to the Indian rupee, the footwear manufacturers are worried that China, which had a fixed dollar exchange price for its currency, would beat the Indian footwear in receiving international orders, with a considerable margin of rates.
