Samsung plans $15mn handset unit in Haryana

Samsung Telecommunications is planning to invest $15 million for setting up a mobile handset manufacturing facility in Haryana.

This was announced by Ki Tae Lee, president of Samsung, during a meeting with Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda who is currently on a visit to Seoul.

Hooda and members of a delegation led by him also visited the factory, headquarters and the R&D centre of Samsung Electronics.
