In a relief to the state government, Supreme Court has allowed the Odisha government to go ahead with e-auction of liquor shops with four of the ten conditions imposed by the Odisha High Court for undertaking the process.
The apex court has stayed the operation of the rest six conditions of the high court. The Supreme Court has lowered the value of solvency certificate in respect of immovable property to six times from twelve times of the combined monthly reserve price(s) of the shop bidder.
