SC lets hawkers trade on 236 city streets

 Earlier, the Bombay high court had allowed them to operate on 131 streets, as against their demand for 488 roads.

 On their appeal to the Supreme Court, the apex court increased the number of roads where they could do business.

 The bench consisting of Justice S N Variava and Justice H K Sema passed the orders on the appeals of several hawkers
