Seminar on coop societies' viability

The Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (Apcob) will organise a seminar on 'DCCBs and primary agricultural cooperative societies viability - packages for revitalization' on November 14 at Jubilee Hall. Eminent personalities in the cooperative sector, farmers, people's represantatives and banking officials from all over Telangana will attend the seminar, a release said.

C Ramachandra Rao, the minister for cooperation, will be the chief guest at the seminar, while Jaya Prakash Narayan , the convener of Lok Satta, will deliver the key- note address. T D Janardhan Rao, the chairman of Apcob, will preside over over the inaugural function.

N Ramesh Kumar, the secretary (cooperation and marketing), DR Garg, the registrar of cooperative societies, and PVA Rama Rao, the chairman of the expert committee, will be the other guests at the event.
