Sensex likely to open higher

The Sensex is likely to open higher on the back of follow-up buying. The upmove may face resistance around yesterday's high of 12,289, above which the next resistance could be at 12,330.

On the downside, the index is likely to find support around 12,150-12,100 levels.

Hindustan Oil Exploration board is scheduled to meet today to consider a proposal for rights issue.

Century Enka, Nitin Spinners, Ashapura Minechem, Mro-Tek and Sangam India will announce their earnings today.
