The Sensex is likely to open higher today backed by gains in the global markets. The continued selling by the FIIs in the cash market is a worrying factor, the foreign funds have sold equity worth nearly Rs 10,000 crore in the last two weeks.

However, the onset of monsoon in Kerala may bring some cheers to the market, and the index may end with solid gains.

The upmove is likely to face resistance around 10,930-11,000 levels. On the downside, the index is likely to find support around 10,615-10,690 levels.
