Following heavy selling the last two trading days, the Sensex is likely to open on a cautious note today. Heavy selling by FIIs in the cash market (nearly Rs 1,200 crore) on Thursday and (Rs 1,100 crore) in the dervatives segment on Friday could sour the mood bit more. The index has a near support at around 12,210 levels below which it could slide to 12,160 or 12,100 levels. On the upside, the index could face resistance around 12,360 levels. Ansal Housing, Dewan Housing, Syndicate Bank, United Western Bank, Bannari Amman, Emami, Hindustan Sanitary, Kotak Bank, OCL India and Suzlon are scheduled to announce their earnings today. |
