SEZ in Mundra by year-end

Adanis to invest Rs 3,000 crore in the project over the next three years

The city-based Rs 4,500-crore Adani Group is planning to make its proposed Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Mundra of Kutch district in the state operational by December end.

The group had last week received the clearance from the Centre for the SEZ.

The group, which also has the Mundra Port close to the land acquired for the SEZ, will invest Rs 3,000 crore over the next three years for the development of the SEZ.

It may also invite an equity partner for the project, which will be the state
