Shiv Sena Mp Apologises For Tearing Papers

Most of the Congress members, led by Pranab Mukherjee, demanded that action should be taken against the errant member.

The situation would have gone awry had Opposition leader Sikander Bakht not intervened and prevailed on Nirupam to offer unconditional apology. Nirupam said he was a new member and had to learn many things in Parliament which included not tearing papers. Adiks paper, which he wanted to show Nirupam, was reportedly meant to contest some of Nirupams statements during the debate on the Mumbai firing incident.
