Shyamal Ghosh, secretary, department of telecommunications (DoT) and chairman, Telecom Commission, will hang up his boots in May 2002, after a stint of more than two years with the telecommunications ministry. He had joined the telecommunications ministry as secretary of DoT in early 2000.
Ghosh, an Indian Administrative Services officer of the 1965 batch, has served the Gujarat government, the department of electronics, and the directorate general of foreign trade during his career.
