 Singapore Airlines may enter India by tying up with Indian Airlines for an aircraft maintenance venture.

 According to civil aviation ministry officials, Indian Airlines and Singapore Airlines have initiated discussions for a possible joint venture.

 Indian Airlines signed a memorandum of understanding with Singapore Airlines on September 19 for conducting a feasibility study to jointly undertake fleet repair and maintenance services in India.
