Sikhs protest outside Austrian embassy in Delhi

Around 125 Sikhs staged a demonstration in front of the Austrian embassy here today demanding investigation into the killing of Dera Sachkhand leader in Vienna.    

The Sikhs belonging to the Jalandhar-based sect gathered in front of the embassy located in Chanakyapuri around 11:30 am and sat on a "peaceful" dharna there.    

The protestors were demanding investigations into the killing of sect leader Sant Rama Nand during a clash between rival Sikh communities in a Vienna Gurudwara on Sunday. They also submitted a memorandum to embassy officials.    

A senior police official said the protest was peaceful.
