The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) has accorded in-principle approval to two new investment proposals worth Rs 101 crore.
Himadri Chemicals and Industries Ltd has proposed to set up coal tar manufacturing unit at Kenghati in Sambalpur district with an investment of Rs 56.63 crore.
The other proposal that got the nod of SLSWCA is by Nandini Real Infra Ltd to set up a steel slag recycling unit at Kalinga Nagar in Jajpur district with investment of around Rs 55 crore.

The state chief secretary G C Pati has urged industries to make adequate technical arrangements for rain water harvest and recharge of ground water.
The State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) has also been asked to enforce compliance to pollution norms, treatment of industrial wastes and zero discharge through recycling and reuse.
