"India is sitting on a power keg. Scrapping of POTA has made the country a soft target," Sinha, the party's national vice-president, claimed at a Press conference here.
Condemning the attack, Sinha alleged that the Centre had failed to contain the terror attacks.
Favouring the revival of POTA to control terrorism, Sinha agreed with the US democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's reported statement that the US should chase terrorists crossing over to Pakistan from Afghanistan to control terror attacks.
"Obama has said that the US should go inside Pakistani territory if terrorists from Afghanistan cross over. India should also take a similar stand as the external affairs ministry suspected ISI's involvement in the recent bomb attack on Indian embassy in Kabul," he said.
He, however, said it was a matter of interrogation when asked whether he suspected an ISI hand behind yesterday's serial blasts in Gujarat.
