Slight intensity quake in AP-TN-K'taka border

A slight intensity earthquake hit the border region of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu this morning.

The quake, measuring 3.4 on the Richter Scale, shook the region at 0733 IST, the Indian Meteorological Department said here.

The epicentre of the earthquake was located 12.9 degrees North on the latitude and 78.4 degrees east on the longitude.
