Sri City signs MoUs worth Rs 1,215 cr with 11 companies

Of the eleven firms, Colgate-Palmolive has plans to set up toothbrush manufacturing facility with an investment of Rs 450 cr

Sri City has signed MoUs with 11 companies across multiple industries on the sidelines of the ongoing Partnership Summit at Visakhapatnam on Tuesday. 

These eleven units have committed an investment of Rs 1,215 crore.

These companies include the US-based Colgate-Palmolive company, which proposes to set up a tooth brush manufacturing facility at an investment of Rs 450 crore.

More than 100 companies from 26 countries are currently operating out of Sri City, which is an integrated business city spread over 7,500 acres consisting of multi-product special economic zone, a domestic tariff zone and free trade warehousing zone along with other facilities.
 

Among other companies that signed MoUs include Thermax, Isuzu and Vikram Solar each of which have proposed to investment over Rs 200 crore in the state.
