The Justice BN Srikrishna committee, set up by the Centre to examine the demand for and against bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, will start holding discussions with political leaders, individuals and all stakeholders from early next month.
At the end of its two-day visit to the state capital on Friday, chairman of the five-member committee, Srikrishna, appealed to the people to “maintain peace and help us in finding a solution” to the contentious issue.
“There is some committee which is breaking its head to resolve the deadlock. We are applying our mind to the problem,” he said, adding that committee members would visit the state as many times as possible for understanding the situation.
According to member-secretary VK Duggal, the committee will keep on its website all the technical information it receives regarding different regions of Andhra Pradesh.
