SriLankan Airlines will be the official carrier for the annual meet of the Indian Institute of Interior Designers which gets underway on May 10 in Maldives. The meet will extend up to May 13. |
The 90-member team of delegates, which comprises eminent architects from South India, would fly to Maldives on Wednesday (May 10) from the seven gateways of Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi , Kozhikode, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Delhi, a SriLankan Airlines' statement said here. |
The arrivals and departures have been synchronised in such a manner that all the members would arrive into Colombo and proceed from there to Maldives together on the same flight the same day. |
The group will spend three nights in Maldives at a resort where the architects will meet to discuss and brainstorm on `Emerging Trends and Technologies "� 2006'. On their return ,the group will stopover in Colombo. |
The land arrangements in Maldives and Sri Lanka as well as the air travel logistics to Maldives and Sri Lanka have been organised by SriLankan Airlines in association with Thiruvananthapuram-based Kerala Travels, Srilankan Air's travel partner. |
SriLankan Airlines has also organised a one-day sightseeing and shopping tour in Colombo for the group. SriLankan Airlines is at present the largest foreign airline here with 84 weekly departures from nine Indian destinations. |
