Alleging that the state government was not having any “vision” to bring reforms in the functioning of Punjab State Electricity Board , PSEB Engineers’ Association today said that in spite of getting extension ten times for “unbundling” of the Board, the government had virtually done nothing in this regard.
“The government is not even serious to implement the conditions of Central Electricity Act 2003 for which it got extension of time at least ten times.,” M S Bajwa, a patron of the association said. “Had the government been serious, a meeting with the several stake holders including engineers could be called on to discuss and finalise the strategy to be adopted,” he said.
