State-Level Bankers & #8217; Committee Meet Today

Chief minister will be chief guest and release the State Credit Plan 2003-04 on the occasion.

The 151st meeting of the State Level Bankers Committee (SLBC) of Andhra Pradesh will be convened by Andhra Bank here on Wednesday. Chief minister N Cha ndrababu Naidu will launch the State Credit Plan 2003-04.

Finance minister Y Ramakrishnudu, agriculture minister V Sobhanadreeswara Rao, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development Minister N Janardhan Reddy and the minister for employment generation, B Gopalakrishna Reddy, will participate in the meeting.

The meeting will deliberate on such issues as micro irrigation project, drought relief measures, SHG finance, employment generation schemes, PMRY, CMEY and other government-sponsored schemes, according to a press release issued by Andhra Bank general manager A L Nageswara Rao, who is the convener of SLBC.

 

Andhra Bank chairman and managing director B Vasanthan is the president of the SLBC, Andhra Pradesh. He along with Rajendra Kakker, the managing director of the State Bank of Hyderabad, R Balakrishnan, the executive director of Andhra Bank, S S Gangopadhyaya, the regional director of RBI, S K Bhattacharya, the chief general manager of State Bank of India, Mohan Khanda, the chief secretary of Andhra Pradesh, and senior bankers and officials will take part in the proceedings.
