State ready to execute Purulia hydel project alone

 The state has already conveyed its decision to the Union ministry of power, state power minister Mrinal Banerjee said here today.

 The state has formed a joint venture company with NHPC for the project but its equity participation has been held up by the Public Investment Board (PIB).
