State Trading Corporation has invited Expression of Interest (EOI) from suppliers for supplying it non-basmati par-boiled rice, which would be exported to Bangladesh.
The tender is for supplying 50,000 tonnes of non-basmati par-boiled.
As per the conditions laid down by State Trading Corporation (STC) for suppliers, they will have to procure levy-free rice from all markets across the country at the rate, which is closest possible to the minimum support price (MSP) paid to farmers.
The last date of submission of EOIs by interested suppliers is July 9, 2010.
