Tamil Nadu on Monday said it had signed agreements worth Rs 10,399 crore that will create more than 13,000 jobs in the state, highlighting a deal to set up a data centre in Chennai for at least Rs 3,000 crore.
The state signed preliminary investment agreements with Vikram Solar investment (Rs 5,423 crore), Elgi Equipments (Rs 250 crore), CGD Sathrai Pvt Ltd (Rs 250 crore), NDR Integrated Industrial Park (Rs 200 crore), and other companies.
Yotta Infrastructure, a subsidiary of the Hiranandani Group, along with Yotta agreed to invest Rs 3,000 crore to Rs 4,000 crores in the Chennai data centre project
