Fresh from the drubbing at the Lok Sabha polls, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) will start a soul-searching exercise at its two-day annual party meet " Mahanadu " beginning here tomorrow.

"We will discuss the poll issue threadbare and consider the reasons for bad show by the party," a senior TDP leader said today.

Party president N Chandrababu Naidu is expected to give his message in the inaugural address and the senior leaders will gather together to analyse where the party performed poorly.

Finding the cause of resentment against the party and chalking out its future course of action as a constructive opposition will be the thrust areas of 'Mahanadu'.

"We will also start the exercise of building up the party from the grassroot level and prepare for the next elections," the leader said.

TDP's 'Mahanadu' is being organised after a gap of ten years.
