Team Hazare today asked government employees across the country to go on mass leave tomorrow to show solidarity with Anna Hazare but Union Home Minister P Chidambaram hoped they would not respond, describing the call as "completely wrong."

Announcing Team Hazare's agitational plans tomorrow, Hazare's close associate and lawyer Prashant Bhushan urged government servants to join their cause and take a mass leave for a day tomorrow and join the protests in their city.

When asked for his comment about Bhushan's appeal, Chidambaram said, "It is a completely wrong call. In a free country, anybody can even give wrong calls."

"I sincerely hope that government servants will not respond to such wrong call," he added.
