Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao on Monday said the state would put in place a model single-window clearance for attracting investments.
"The state is working towards formulating an effective (the real) single-window system, and this will be held by the chief minister's office through a special purpose vehicle," said Rao at ground-breaking ceremony of Tata Advanced Systems Ltd's fourth unit for aerospace systems here.
All industrial proposals in the state would be granted through strict timeline procedures along with their review and updation. "There will be no need for the entrepreneurs to run around multiple offices for investment clearances. These measures would help strengthen our goal to see Made-in-Telangana a global brand," he said. The state in consultation with industry bodies would come out with a new industrial policy.
