Telstra V-Comm May Invest In Two Ip Firms

Congress president Sonia Gandhi yesterday offered to quit her party post which was rejected by the Congress Working Committee (CWC).

Meanwhile, party leader Sharad Pawar yesterday failed to show up at the CWC meeting called to discuss a demand made by him, P A Sangma and Tariq Anwar that Sonia Gandhi should not be the Prime Minister in the event of the Congress forming a government.

Pawar's staff in Delhi yesterday claimed that he had never agreed to attend the meeting without Sangma and Anwar. Sangma is abroad. Pawar refused to attend the meeting saying he would like to discuss the issue only in the presence of Sangma and Anwar. Sangma
