Textile Exports Down By 8% In Jan-June 2001

Textile exports in January-June 2001 witnessed a decline of about eight per cent as against the corresponding period last year.

Textile exports in January-June this year have been valued at $658.48 million as against $605.42 million in January-June 2000, according to the latest figures, compiled by the Northern India Textile Mills Association (NITMA).
