Three more SEZs from Andhra may get the nod

Three more special economic zone (SEZ) proposals from Andhra Pradesh are likely to be considered for approval by the Board of Approvals at Friday's meeting in Delhi, officials said here today.
 
These include a food processing SEZ proposed to be set up by the Chennai-based Murugappa Group on 250 acres of land at the port town of Kakinada.
 
The group has already acquired the requisite land on its own, according to officials.
 
The second one is an integrated textile project proposed on 200 hectares of land by MAS Holdings near the port town of Krishnapatnam in Nellore district while the third is an aviation SEZ proposed to be set up by the GMR Group on 250 acres of land in the new international airport premises at Hyderabad.
