Tiwari inaugurates IT park

Uttaranchal Chief Minister N D Tiwari today laid the foundation stone for the IT Park in Dehra Dun, which will be built at a cost of Rs 85 crore.
 
Named "Doon Cyber Tower," the IT park is being developed by the State Industrial Development Corporation of Uttaranchal Ltd (SIDCUL), a state government enterprise.
 
The floor spaces in the park, having a health club, food courts, power back-up, and serviced apartments and connectivity, will be leased out to IT firms and BPO units.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Tiwari reiterated the resolve of the government to make Uttaranchal a leading destination of knowledge-based industries.
 
Tiwari said the park would be spread over 400,000 square feet. Feedback Ventures has been appointed Project Manager to the Park. It is expected to be completed in a year.
