The Tamil Nadu government has announced the launch of Tamil Nadu Rural Bazaar website, www.ruralbazar.tn.gov.in, developed by the rural development department.
The website is expected to help the self-help groups in the state market over 700 products produced by rural women.
The state initiatives, according to a press release, in mobilising the rural poor into self-help groups to engage them in self- employment activities have yielded good results.
