The Supreme Court today reacted strongly against DMK lead Tamil Nadu government's failure to comply with its order on a bandh call given by the party on the issue of Sethu Samudram project.

The court warned that, it would not hesitate to summon the Chief Secretary and the Chief Minister of the state and initiate contempt of court proceedings.

The apex court also observed that the UPA government in the centre should not feel shy of dismissing the Tamil Nadu government and impose President's Rule in the state.
