TN plans integrated check posts

The Tamil Nadu government would soon set up integrated check posts at four places on the inter-state borders.

The check posts would be fully computerised and networked with the state headquarters, KN Nehru, state minister for transport, told the media.

These check posts would come up at Pethikuppam (Tamil Nadu"�Andhra Pradesh border), Hosur (Karnataka border), Kandanchavadi and Kaliyakavalai (Kerala border). The outlay would be around Rs 10 crore.
